Polymer Clay Workshops at Penistone Leisure Centre on 28th and 31st Oct
Gill’s Clay Creations will be at the leisure centre for an enchanting Polymer Clay workshop! Whether you’re an adult or a budding young artist, these sessions are perfect for unleashing your creativity.

What is happening:
Join us for an exciting new art project, Art & About, kicking off at the end of August and spanning September and October.
Lucy of LJayBee Illustrations will host a series of Art & About sessions right here in Penistone. You’ll have the chance to sketch outdoors alongside Lucy as she captures the essence of Penistone’s buildings and landmarks.
Following these sessions, we’ll craft a FIMO map based on our sketches in a workshop with @gillsclaycreations in October. Participation in the Art & About sessions guarantees you a spot in Gill’s clay workshop. Best of all, these sessions are completely free, thanks to funding from Creative Lives and the Arts Council England.

Workshops at Heart of Handmade in Barnsley -
Flower and Leaf Jewellery 14th September 1-3.30pm £40
Join Our Enchanting Polymer Clay Workshop where you will discover the magic of creating beautiful flower and leaf patterned ‘canes’ in our engaging workshop! Imagine crafting intricate designs in a tube, just like a stick of seaside rock, where every slice reveals the same mesmerizing pattern. It’s pure magic!
What You’ll Create:
A stunning selection of beads, some of which we’ll bake during the class so you can wear them home!
Additional beads to bake at home and transform into more fabulous jewellery. Full baking instructions will be given.
Versatile flowers and leaves that can adorn picture frames, decorative cards, or even create a ‘bunch of flowers’ picture.
What You’ll Learn:
Mastering the pasta machine to achieve a beautiful gradient effect.
Using a variety of tools and equipment to perfect your creations.
Shaping sliced beads with precision.
Assemble your creations into a pair of stylish earrings.
This workshop is perfect for those who have dabbled in Polymer Clay before, but beginners are welcome too!
Please note, due to the use of scalpels and sharp cutting blades, this workshop is not suitable for children.

Autumn Bunting 5th October 1-3pm £35.00
Create your very own charming Autumn Bunting, adorned with the cutest woodland critters! It will look perfect on your mantle piece, hung on your wall or even strung up in a child's nursery.
What You’ll Learn:

Christmas Decorations November 30th 1-3pm £35
Get Ready for a Festive Crafting Extravaganza!
With the holiday season just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to dive into the joy of creating stunning Christmas decorations for your tree! Not only will you craft beautiful ornaments, but you’ll also make cherished memories along the way.
What to Expect:
A Variety of Decorations: Choose from an array of cutters, templates, samples, and photographs to inspire your creations.
Traditional Color Scheme: Embrace the classic festive colors of red, green, and gold.
Personalization: Add a personal touch with letter stamps and ink, making unique gifts or stocking fillers.
Crafting Time: In just two hours, you’ll be able to create 5 or 6 delightful items.
Baking Instructions: Full instructions will be provided so you can cure your creations at home.
